Empowering Neurodiverse Children with Holistic Health Solutions

At Wilder Kids, I offer a range of services designed specifically for neurodiverse children. I combine naturopathy, nutrition, and functional therapy to address underlying health concerns and support your child’s growth. Here’s how I can help:

Naturopathy & Nutrition for Neurodiversity

I assess your child’s needs using functional testing, including gut health assessments, micronutrient analysis, and food intolerance testing. Based on these results, I create a personalised nutritional plan designed to improve their neurological development, mood regulation, and overall health.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Improving cognitive function

  • Reducing anxiety

  • Supporting healthy digestion

  • Enhancing brain function through targeted nutrition

Autism and ADHD Support

My autism and ADHD support programs are focused on helping children manage:

  • Sensory sensitivities

  • Emotional regulation

  • Dietary challenges (including food aversions)

  • Behavioural issues

I create structured, supportive plans that target both emotional and physical health, helping your child adapt to school, social settings, and home life.

Gut Health Support

Gut health plays a critical role in brain function, mood regulation, and behaviour. I provide treatment for digestive issues such as SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth), IBS, and chronic constipation. My approach focuses on:

  • Balancing gut bacteria

  • Reducing digestive discomfort

  • Improving nutrient absorption for better brain function

Feeding Therapy

For neurodiverse children, eating can be challenging due to sensory sensitivities or behavioural difficulties. My feeding therapy program focuses on:

  • Overcoming food aversions

  • Introducing a wider variety of foods

  • Improving mealtime behaviours

  • Addressing fussy eating and problem feeders

PANDAS and PDA Support

I take a holistic approach to support children with PANDAS (Paediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders) and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), addressing both physical and psychological health challenges. My focus includes:

  • Reducing inflammation

  • Balancing the immune system

  • Supporting brain health

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A CONSULTATION?

During your consultation, Kate will seek information about health history and current health conditions. This provides view of your little one’s health foundations. Kate will also delve into the health history and current health concerns of your child.

Testing or assessments may be conducted to really understand what is happening inside. This can include gut functional testing, feeding assessments. Using the findings from testing combined with Kate’s experience in paediatric wellbeing and nutrition, a personalised treatment plan will be created that incorporates nutritional medicine, dietary/lifestyle recommendations and recommended programs.

Kate will provide ongoing support to help you implement the plan with confidence and make sure your child is responding well to the treatment and therapy. Not only will your child feel and live better, but you as a family will be equipped with the tools and resources to understand and manage conditions.
